 Phoenix Golf - Resort
An extensive renovation of guestrooms and suites at the Scottsdale Conference Resort has resulted in a dramatic new look for this full service resort and meeting facility.
Completed in January 2003, the guestrooms and three Presidential Suites have been luxuriously appointed with new carpet, linens, window treatments, crown molding, works of art, and wall treatments. New furniture reflecting the resort’s residential hacienda-inspired architecture includes beds with leather headboards, chairs with ottomans, nightstands, desks, and stately armoires housing sophisticated entertainment systems and mini-bars.
Standard amenities in the guestrooms and suites include bedside night stands with slide out work trays, two telephones, each with two lines and data ports, plus a third telephone in the bathroom, high speed Internet connections, two oversized work desks, and an in room coffee bar with coffee maker. Evening turndown and ice delivery to each room have been added as guest enhancements.
King and queen guestrooms are decorated in shades of rich Pimento or soothing Desert Sage and accented with artwork depicting historical themes of Mexico or plants native to the surrounding Sonora Desert.
Guest bathrooms also received makeovers and feature marble surrounds with new fixtures. Decorated with striking black and white photography of the Southwest, the bathrooms offer make-up mirrors, vanity stools, multi-phase showerheads, luxurious bathrobes, and are stocked with Aveda toiletries.
Enhancements unique to the resort’s three 2,300 square-foot Presidential Suites include chandeliers, canopy beds, stained glass bathroom windows, whirlpool bathtubs, custom crafted bathroom cabinetry, shoe polishers and cordless phones. Each Presidential Suite offers a luxurious master suite, living room, dining room, wet bar, furnished balcony overlooking the golf course, and the option of one or two additional bedrooms.
